"Go-to" goose call: Acrylic Eastern Shoreman

"Go-to" duck call: SS Onyx Acrylic Double Trouble

Home state: Maryland

My trips afield began at the age of 6 when my grandfather took me on  my first hunt for racoons on the property I know live on. From then my father raised me to be a deer and small game hunter as these were and still are his favored species to hunt. Some of my earlies memories hunting with my dad are from squirrel hunts we would take on Satudays in the fall. We also spent many days together bowhunting whitetails on Maryland's Eastern Shore.

I got the bug for waterfowling around the age of 19 and have been hooked ever since. I was fortunate enough to meet some veteran guides from the Eastern Shore who taught me early on what it takes to have success in waterfowling. I combined those friendships with determination and practice and began competition calling in 2000. As a determined individual to find a career in the waterfowling industry, I was lucky enough to get a full time position with Sean Mann Outdoors in the summer of 2005.

Hunting and fishing on the Eastern Shore of Maryland is what I love to do most. The trips with family and good friends are the ones I cherish the most. Hunkered down in a pit waiting on a flock of AP geese or looking for the orange feet of mallards on the banks of the Choptank River are the only two places I'd rather be than with my kids. I still try to take every opportunity I can to hunt whitetails with my dad, and now with a son of my own at age 6, we can look forward to going on some 3 generation hunts!

"Go-to" Goose Call: XL Acrylic Shorty 2001 Kevin Popo Signature Series

Home State: MA

Robert is an avid waterfowler who grew up in Bellmore, NY. and has been pursuing  waterfowl for more than 19+ years. He resides in Brookfield, MA. with his wife Cindi and their 3 young sons – Robert, Patrick and Ethan – ages 9, 5, and 3. Robert, his oldest son, enjoys waterfowling and hopefully his younger sons will soon follow in that family tradition. He is also the proud owner of a chocolate Lab Lyddie, who is never far from his side when out pursuing both geese and ducks. His greatest passion is the art of calling and decoying waterfowl, especially Canada Geese. When not hunting around New York and the surrounding New England states, Rob can often be found in “far off” places like Alaska, California, Arkansas and Canada. “There isn’t a sunrise yet that I have not wanted to see!” has been his slogan. “With all the days spent in the field each season– it comes as no surprise that I will not accept anything less than top-notch performance" That is exactly why whether it be early season geese or those late, hard to get birds - there is no substitute to use the best calls on the market - Sean Mann's!
