Above Montana, and nestled between Saskatchewan and British Columbia, Alberta is a sight to behold. Rolling fields of Peas, Barley, and Wheat stretch as far as the eye can see, and provide a Smorgasbord for the Waterfowl that visit the area. An incredible variety of Ducks, Geese, Swans, and Cranes migrate through the area, and every day brings a fresh group of birds. Lakes, Ponds and Potholes are everywhere, and every one of them serves as a safe evening roost for the southward visitors.

Alberta is a waterfowler’s paradise. Practically every variety of Canada Goose is found here, from the diminutive Cackler to the majestic Giant. White-Fronted Geese (Specklebellies), and two varieties of Snow Geese, the Lesser Snow Goose and the tiny Ross’ Goose, whose bill does not seem an inch long, stage here in numbers that are impossible to imagine. Thousands of Mallards and Pintails are found in every pothole, slough, and lake.

This is wild country, "Big Sky Country." You’ll see Elk, Mule & Whitetail Deer, Coyotes, Magpies, Bison, Badgers, Weasels, Minks, Eagles, Owls, Hawks, Falcon and Sandhill Cranes. Make sure you bring your best camera, and plenty of film. "Fun-Savers" won’t cut it here.

Sean Mann will be your host when you go waterfowl hunting in Alberta, Canada. He uses the finest decoys available, and is the best there is at landing geese. You will be shooting at landing birds, ducks and geese within a few feet of the ground when you stand up. Your shots will typically be from 5 feet to 15 yards away, and 2 to 5 feet from the ground, "skeet gun" range. Ever imagine what sounds 100 Ross’ Geese make when they are only 10 feet from you? Have you ever felt how much air the wings of 60 Giant Canada’s move? You’ll find out with Sean, when you go waterfowl hunting with him in Alberta Canada.

Fellow Hunters:
I’ve been hunting ducks and geese for 35 years. I’ve traveled to the borders of the continent in pursuit of every variety of duck and goose. Some of the stops along the way have been memorable, some less than memorable, and a few have been truly spectacular. One of the destinations has called me back again, and again, and again: Alberta, Canada.

September and October are prime time here, the migration is in full swing. There is such a variety of waterfowl on the move during this two month period, that you’ll have a hard time deciding which birds to hunt! To make it easier for you, we hunt them all. We target quality, mixed-bag hunts to give you the full flavor of the region during this special time of the season.

I am only treating 2 groups a day.....to this spectacular waterfowling experience. If you’re a serious waterfowler, you owe it to yourself to experience this trip.
